SuperFlyCamTM was invented by Garrett Brown, the inventor of Steadicam. Prior to SuperFlyCam, Garrett invented the Skycam and Flycam cable cams that continue to be widely used in major sporting events. Garret based SuperFlyCam upon his extensive exerience as an operator and inventor. The result is a versitile, reliable, highly efficient and lightweight cable camera stabilizer. SuperFlyCam is owned and operated worldwide by my company, Top Hat Productions LLC, the licensee of Garrett Brown's SuperFlyCam design and technology.
In 2009, we formed ZipCam systems. Our goal is to offer simple and elegant solutions to otherwise complex challenges. We began development on a ultra-lightweight, fully wireless pan & tilt head. The head weighs 10lbs, and can support a load of up to 30lbs. Its the lightest, fully wireless film/digital cinema head and will be available at the end of the summer 2010.
The combination of our new ZipHead & our SuperFlyCam stabilizer offers the only lightweight, full-featured film / digital cinema cable camera system... ZipCam. And unlike other systems whose weight requires high tension rigging, ZipCam operates exclusively on low-tension cables. This makes rigging, set-up, and operation safer and faster. ZipCam's ease of installation and user-friendly operation saves productions time and money.

Run-of-Show Hires Save More Money!
ZipCam® is available for either shot-by-shot hires or as a run-of-show hire that also includes me, as an A or B-Camera Op / Steadicam Operator, the ZipHead Remote Head System, and my Steadicam package.
