What is "B" Camera/Steadicam?IMDB defines "B" Camera as an extra camera operator, often needed for complicated action sequences or stunts. Steadicam Operating is a specialized form of camera operating that utilizes a camera stabilizing technology called Steadicam. In order to master the craft it typically requires a significant amount of practice with the equipment, so camera operators found they needed to purchase Steadicam equipment in order to become proficient in its use. This group of cameramen called themselves Steadicam Owner/Operators. |
